Hello Ellen,

Aside from the very scientific method mentioned by Chris, it's a bit of a mix, at least for myself. I am a news/politics junkie by nature, so I'm reading up on the latest stories as much as I can. If I could update daily I would, but I'm still in college so sometimes even when there is a big story going on I can't always cover it. I still try to catch the biggest stories going on, although it sometimes takes a while to understand the astrology behind a given news story because of the particular astrological methods we employ, which usually requires studying a bit of the history on the subject. So really I update when I can, but I also want to have something unique and valuable to say about something. I just keep on top of news sites like a hawk waiting for breaking news and then mine the astrology behind it. So thats pretty much it. Thanks for the compliment!

We follow a highly scientific approach to the selection of article topics that involves a dart board and scraps of newspaper that were torn out of the most recent edition of the Times. Highly scientific.

Great post, Patrick. You must have had fun narrowing it down to only 5, but I think you got it right.

I write a blog on astrology for business. I'd like to ask you about your blog writing. Practically speaking, how do you decide what to write about? The field of politics is vast, like the field of business. There is so much going on all the time in both realms. Do you have a methodology or certain rules you follow to narrow your focus? Or do you just wing it, writing about what happens to catch your attention on any given day? Or another method?

This is a sincere request. I'd love to know your methodology.

Thanks.

Thanks!

Yeah Robert Blaschke's phase angle returns take things a step further. He also likes to look at the degree symbols of the Ascendant for those phase angle return charts and other things. I'm not entirely sure about that, but the idea of looking at the exact moment of the recurrence is intriguing. For now I'm just looking at the general timeframe of recurrences, and looking at transits in the context of history or biography. Thanks again for the compliments.

Entertaining and informative, Nice work!

gotta love those recurrence transits. some people call them "phase angle returns." Blashke actually casts a chart for them and uses it like a solar return chart.
