Jon Huntsman’s Birth Time Discovered
Jon Huntsman, the former Governor of Utah and most recently the US Ambassador to China has not yet announced his presidential run against his former boss, (Barack Obama!), but when he does, we will be lucky enough to work with his actual chart because his birth time has been discovered! He was born at 11:58 am on March 26th, 1960 in Redwood City, California. In my article on the “Status of the 2012 Presidential Candidates’ Birth Times” I noted that out of all the prospective candidates, Huntsman’s would be the easiest to obtain due to California’s open birth records policy, but I did not have the money necessary to purchase the document. “Suzy” alerted me in the comments section to this article from The Salt Lake Tribune in which a reporter tracked down Huntsman’s birth certificate, complete with the time. This would appear to give the time an AA rating. Here is the chart:
There are a couple of things I notice right off the bat that I know will be important for studying Jon Huntsman. His Sun and Moon are within 14 degrees from a Node, figuring in that the Moon moves about 13 degrees every day, I know automatically that he was born about less than half a day before a solar eclipse. After checking eclipse records, this is in fact the case. This is something to take note of because we are currently in eclipse season. What makes his Sun and Moon even more remarkable is that they were both culminating at the MC at the time of his birth. I also know that Uranus is currently transiting in the early degrees of Aries, so he is in the midst of Uranus transiting his Sun, Moon and Midheaven. Since the Midheaven is about career and reputation, and the Sun is about the expressive self and the Moon about the reflective self, it seems quite appropriate that Uranus will be transiting over these points as he strives for the highest office in the land. Huntsman is set to announce his presidential bid on June 21st, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw some other significant development with his campaign by the time of the solar eclipse at 9 Cancer on July 1st.
I have to give a huge thanks to Suzy to alerting me to this, as well as to Thomas Burr, the Salt Lake Tribune reporter who unwittingly did us all a huge favor! Check out this article to see how many other candidates we still need birth times for!
